Historical Preservation

The Three Village Dads Foundation is honored to serve as stewards of the Merritt Hawkins Historical Homestead, a local treasure built in 1802 and currently owned by the Town of Brookhaven. Our work at the homestead reflects our commitment to preserving local history for future generations. In addition to maintaining the property, we’ve created over half a mile of manicured trails through the surrounding woods, offering a peaceful space for the community to enjoy. Through these efforts, we take pride in safeguarding the rich heritage of our area and ensuring that these historical landmarks remain part of our shared legacy.
